Left home about five to a lake my brother inlaw has memories of catching lunkers when he was a kid. A couple hours later we arrive and start hiking. Decided to cut down on the length of hike and went the same way a crow would following the gps. Ha! That never works out especially carrying a pack, two poles and waders. Finally got there and my brother inlaw had lost his sun glasses and handle to his reel. I'm not too stupid for packing two poles now! Waded halfway around the lake and realized we better start hauling butt to get out of here before dark! He ended up catching a couple small ones andgot a hole in his waders. I smell like skunk. Its up in the air for who had the better day but I think getting fish wins every time. Anyways, took the road back and was a great day on a remote lake!
