Had plans on trying merridian this morning for kokes but that didn't work out. Plan b, try fish lake for some cutts and see.ifthe bass would bite. Long story short didn't have a lot of time so made a couple loops with the kokanee gear which did get a couple strikes but none in the boat. Decided to give the drop shot a try so hooked the kiddo up with a worm and bobber. While im focusing on one of those " that's the spot" casts the boy yells " I got one!" He. Hands me the pole because he wants to use the net we, I mean he got for his birthday. Glad it wasn't a koke cause it took a while but he got it. Lake was about 20 ft past blocks for launching. Never hooked up fish findet for water temp. Will be back soon. Also it was a rainbow he caught.
