Arrived just after noon. Beautiful day and was looking forward to catching some of the famed lunkers. After trying almost everything I could think of (I was fly fishing) I talked to some fishermen and they were catching on chironomids. One says that he pumped a trout's stomach and they were full of them. Anyway, stayed on the lake until almost 7pm and did not have a bite. Most fishermen were not doing well either. There was a good mayfly hatch late in the evening but guess the fish were not zeroing in on them. I will be back though.
