This is a summary of a few days fishing during the 4th of July weekend. Opening on the Bar has been sporadic, but has produced some nice fish. The indeterminate flat between the Bar and the Trench has been very consistent in the later morning and even in the mid-day time frame. Also, consistent later in the morning is the tip of Wapato Pt and the face of Manson Bay.

Silver Horde's Needlefish Squid rigs fronted with a Mack's Lure big glow Smile Blade and baited with a chunk of Northern Pikeminnow has been the go to presentation. Worden Lures T4 Flatfish in GPLF has hooked some nice quality fish. As always, we are trying to work within 5 feet of the bottom at speeds of 1.1 to 1.5 mph.
