Good day today. Caught about 25 fish. Nothing of bragging size though mostly 1 pounders and a couple dinks. Action was hot about 8 this morning when I located some weed beds in about 12 ft of water that had baitfish all over and the bass were gorging themselves. Fished a drops hot around the weeds with a 3" senko rigged wacky style. The bass were choking it so hard I had to switch to a worm nose hooked so the didn't swollow it. Most of the fish were coughing up little fish at the boat too. I even had a fish hit my worm and not hook up when I reeled in my worm was gone rigged another worm and cast right back to the same spot. Caught a fish and it had the worm I lost in its mouth still. After that slowed went to drop shot and Carolina rig in 18-20 ft. And consistently caught them. All in all a good day just no big ones.
