Smallmouth fishing at Banks Lake continues to be red hot! The south end of Banks at Coulee City is the place to be. Today we had wind so it was all about casting crankbaits along shallow rocky flats. Lipless crankbaits such as the Yo-Zuri Rattling Vibe have been smoking 'em!! Just make sure you are throwing red crankbaits.

Today my clients caught smallmouth up to 4 1/2 pounds with most being in the 3 pound range.

Burn the lipless crankbaits over the rocks just about as fast as you can reel to trigger the reaction strikes.
