I took my grandkids fishing today with Kim's (pinkpole) help. We went fast to one end of the lake then fast to the other end where we fished in Little American. I may have ruined it by going fast first for the boys. They were disappointed to stop to fish. Whereas Zoe wanted to learn to cast her own spinning rod, not the Dora pole. She hooked her own fish which was the first and biggest of the day. The boys played with the Cars and Spiderman poles waiting to go fast again. They reeled in 2 perch that Kim (pinkpole) hooked.
It was getting hot and the kids were getting antsy but I said I couldn’t go until I caught a fish! This was redemption for the previous days no catching. So Kim told me where to cast and I got a perch in!
We upped anchor and headed up to the other end of the lake, FAST. The kids had fun!
I filleted the perch after watching a video on YouTube which Kim and I ate for lunch after fishing Alder Lake on the 29th.

We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.
