Our last day for sockeye this year yielded another 7 nice fish, it has been a fun trip. Stated out 7/1 fishing and crabbing from Sequim to Sekui. Then 8/3 we started fishing Lake Wenatchee, it took a few days to learn the tricks then it was FISH ON, we have had a ball. We finished up with 78 sockeye, that's about 180 pounds of fillets so its time to head home and get the smoker going and start planning our next trip. My wife says that I have one week to smoke fish and take care of business before taking off again. I love retirement. Hopefully I can figure out how to post pictures while on a trip.

Yes it truely was an amazing season. I'm sure we crossed paths at some point on the lake as we fished 14 days from July 21 through August 23. Only problem is that most of the time we were so busy we didn't get to look around at the other boats on the water. Many of our friends and family will be eating well this winter. Until next year maybe we can meet you. I'm not retired but have a super wife that allows me to work part time and fish when fishing is good.
