got my line out, about 740 am. and it was slow. got two males, on my usual seps dodger/wedding ring. then nada. no wind. dead calm. nada. trolled till about ten am, with a few drive bys. then, i thought id try something different. i mean, just cause ive had good returns, on my usual rig, does not make it fool proof. so. what to try. well, i decided to leave the dodger. and try a ......green spin glo? it only had one hook, a drop shot six. so, on with the korn, and down it goes to 30'. i may have found out something special. for i not only got my three fish very quickly, but all three slammed the heck out of it. AND...... all three, are FEMALES! my freind showed up, and i told him what to use. he put on an orange spin glo. he got two fish right off the bat. FEMALES. a very odd day. but, i learned something. spin glows must have reminded them, of something................stiff?? lol. tomorrow, i go out, and im going to catch me some females. eggs are starting to get fat. really tho. this was odd. but, if it was anything but luck? i dont think so. five females all on spin gloes. about 16" behind the dodger.
