Took my 7 yr old to Bosworth this morning. We fished wooly buggers 18" behind a flasher, which was about 3' behind a 2 oz banana sinker. We were letting out 50-60 feet of line and trolling slow. Caught plenty of nice 12-15" trout and some Kokanee (?). Kept our limits, as well as throwing 6-8 trout back that were covered with parasites. Also Saw something big busting/chasing a 6" Kokanee on the surface, out in the middle of the lake. Had shoulders, whatever it was. It was pushing a wake. Went on for 6-8 seconds. Tied on a rapala and shot a few casts in the area, but no takers. Only thing I can think of is a decent sized bass. We spent some time around the dock/lily pads catching pumpkinseed and small bass. Kid had a blast. Nice day on the water.
