I was fishing by 7:30am. Anchored in 47 feet of water on the north easterly side of the lake. I started getting very soft bites right away but I could not hook ‘em. I thought that the spinner I was using had caught a lot of fish so I decided to switch out. That was when I found out that I only had 1 other orange spinner in the tackle box and it had a gold blade on it. I was not sure if they would continue to bite the gold one so I switched out to the Still-fishing spinner in pink that had a silver blade.
I continued to get bites and all I hooked ended up in the boat. I got my limit in an hour so it was a good! Had plenty of time before work and didn’t have to rush.
It was sunny and there was a breeze part of the time. Highs today were suppose get to 86. The water temp has gone down to 67.
