Kokanee kid and i arrived at the lake, and started trolling at about 8 am. Very slow for an hour. then, the fish would come on a bite, then off. We ended up with nine fish. and left at about 130 pm. Very nice day. Chuck was curious how the meat looked. we opened a pair. meat was fine, still. Not sure for how long. The fish sure look cool now. He tells me they will be naurly by months end. All the fish we landed were males. And, they fought harder, then they have all summer. A real attitide, they had. I got one on my green spin glo. then, i put on one of chucks green bead spinners, with a willow leaf blade. they seemed to like this. I may go tomorrow. Not much time left, for them. mabe a week, to ten days. The eagle, killed a coot. picked its feathers all off, on a dock, then gorged itself. LOL. The meat is still ok in the kokes.
