Caught lots of dink largemouth in the osbourne slough area on cranks and senkos. Of course the bigger fish have been deep for awhile but I love fishing the weed beds and reeds. Was a great fall day with lots of warm sun breaks and no major wind in the area I was fishing. Caught some perch and landed a nice rainbow trout on my texas rigged 5 inch senko which has never happend to me before on banks. Nothing huge but put up one hell of a fight. Good sign for trout fishing this winter and early spring on banks! Shows there already moving up into shallower water. Was gonna hit the punch bowl afterwards but the wind kicked up. Has been one mild October in the coulee. Things are changing quick as it looks like colder air and rain for the next week or so. Water level is still down around 3-4ft. All fish C&R.
