Actually on Lake Inez(Vance creek pond 1 or 2)(not the kids pond). Took my son and my daughters boyfriend to go get razor clams and stopped here for some fishing. Was the first time fishing for them both( I know bad dad never took the kids fishing when they were young). Turned into a great day only took 8 fish home ranging from 11-14". Some good fighters. we started about the middle of the pond along the south shore. Each had a fish in the first half hour, then they all went away. We moved to the east end of the lake and no sooner did we cast and 2 of us had fish on. The BF lost his at the shore, but he hooked another right away. We ended up with 5 in that area and had to bug out for the razors.Saw several others that were bringing them in left and right most using PB of some kind, 1 guy was using a spinner and every other cast had a hook up, all near shore. Saw a couple boats trolling, never saw them pull anything out.
Ended up at the beach and all 3 limited on the clams.Was an overall great day.
