Took the kids out after the Hawks game. Caught a bunch of perch. found schools in the 38-40 ft range. kept about 20 nice ones for dinner. The bight was best just before sunset. The kids had a blast even in the cold probably because they were catching fish which always helps you forget its cold. When we left they were already asking when they could come back. Mission successful.

Wife and I returned on Mon. decided to poke around for bass for a little while. Kept marking fish on the 30-40 ft. range but could not get anything to bite. finally did get one to bite and it was a nice 16-17 inch rainbow. nice fish just not what I was looking for.After striking out for bass decided to have some fun and catch and release a few perch before we left. The water was a few deg. cooler 51 and the perch we found were in the 45-50 ft range.
