Fished green lake this morning, thinking of leaving the house early to beat gridlock traffic. Decided to leave the house at 5:45am and find my self still stuck in traffic, crawling 10 miles per hour. Got to the lake from Bothell @ 6:20. Park along the road by the boat rental dock,saw 1 angler already made his way down to the lake. Stay on my warn car for a little bit till light is out. Start fishing at 7, and fish on right away release too small,next one was a keeper of 16" went to the stringer, and the bite was on from that point. Then my phone ring,thinking"oh man maybe wife is calling and wanted me home early" but to my surprise it was my younger bother he was fishing at the dock,he saw me c/r fished.he moved to a spot next to me and nailed more fish. It was fun fishing with my brother and catch up with him. Fun to bump into him on a fishing trip,unplanned date. It was a blast. C/R maybe 30 to 40 fished,we keep the good size. We caught fish on lure,bobber and worm, power eggs,heck it even bit my golden rapala that I have for bass. It also amazing to see the cormorants birds busy all morning and fishing really close to us. The we kinda use the birds to our advantage cause everytime the birds swim close they tend to push the schools of fished swim closer to shore,we can actually see schools swim by like crazy shallow area. We called it quit and done at 10. It will be a good fall fishing for sure. Now I got 20 fish brined and ready for smoker, for the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving to every one. God bless.
