My mojo was off today so I can only report on my own experience. Lots of folks catching especially using bobber/worm or power bait on a bobber.

I was having tough luck today - started off with the barbless jig, hooked and landed one within a couple minutes, but it was dark and got sent back. I then missed 4-5 in a row before I went to barbed hooks. Still fared no better but was able to land a big bright one on a Dick Nite. The rest were very hard won - I just had the wrong color.

My buddy Allen showed up with an orange Vibrax and just killed it, standing right next to me.

Highlight of the day was the guy that caught the cormorant - it drove them off for a while but they were a constant pain in the behind, causing the fish to disappear for extended periods. Mickey also caught a nasty barbed treble hook in his hand - he ended up pushing it all the way through and then crimping the barb so he could get it out. Bled like crazy, but he seemed to be okay with it.
