Got to the dock @ 0700, lucky me, no one there,...good reason, no fish!! I was excited when I got there, not much wind, a little rain, slightly cold, but manageable. Set up the usual, 2 poles, 3'-4' leaders, pe/pb, heave. Had a total of 5 nibbles, no take downs, but managed to land a 14" trout when I set the hook after my line went slack, that's it!! A older couple showed up @ 0730, also 2 poles each, the wife managed to land a very nice 16" brown, very fat!! But they left about 1/2 later because lack of action, they said going to T dock by the rentals. Also the Cormorants parading thru, maybe about 60-70, made it discouraging,.. the people on the bank were not doing much either. I later tried lures/spinners even tho I only saw 2 fish jump, crazy, water was flat, so calm, seemed ideal. Oh well, will be on the weekend,...

What a pity - catching a beautiful resident trout w/power eggs. They aren't good to eat (or at least I wouldn't eat anything that lived in the lake as a resident) and if he took the power bait all the way down, he's dead. The cormorants only eat live fish, so anything killed & thrown back just goes to the crawfish.

From your pic, I guess you would be able to see fish thrown back to die or dead, that would really piss me off, but "we" can't be policing the waters, not worth the trouble unfortunately,...
