Got to the dock @ 0700, 1 other fisherman already there, joe, he was there @ 0600, no fish yet either. Setup on the SW corner, 2 poles, 3'-4' leaders, pe/pb, launch. Pretty quiet, beautiful morning, no wind, fog rolling in, water flat. Looks so ideal but it was slow. Some nibbles, no solid takedowns early, finally bring one in around 0800, 14". More nibbles, tap, tap, then nothing,...second fish in around 0815, about 13". Joe finally brings one in about 12", everything subtle,.. Joe left about 0830, I was going to be discipline today, leave @ 0900 regardless. As I was taking apart one pole, the other one got slammed, set the hook, good fight, close to the dock, then shook off, bigger/fatter than the 14",...left @ 0900,...had my chances, at least I brought some home,..

so that's were Joes been. I havnt seen him or pete at the other side.if its the same Joe who use to bring his cat tell him I said howdy. I was out today for a couple housrs nrae the pic nick table. my eye sights not what it use to be and some times I tye a bad knot. today I hooked a fairly nice one that broke my line but Imsure it was my knot the fish leaped a few times and looked about maybe 14 inch. but that was the only strike. was throwing a Kastmaster. thanks for the info I will mozey over that way in the next day our 2. good fishing to you Buddy
