Jeff had a great prep day and fishing day on the 22nd and 23rd. Pepe' came out to fine tune things with Jeff before he took out repeat customer Randy Stewart of Ellensburg and Chef Bob Aungst of Winter Park, Fl. He worked the trench with Silver Horde's Needlefish Squid rigs baited with pieces of Pikeminnow. Speeds of around 1.5 mph were most effective. Front that rig with a Mack's Lure glow Smile Blade and scent things with Pautzke's Krill Juice. In addition to the Mackinaw, there are Rainbow Trout to be caught from the docks and the edge of Mill Bay. For the patient, you can eke out a few Kokanee in the mid depths.
