Father-in-law was in town from Georgia, so I took him out to target some American Lake Rainbows. Started out early working drop offs in the 40-60 ft range with some limited success, the wind was pushing us around a little bit but not too bad. Moved to a point where the wind was blowing across and immediately had better results. (6 fish before lunch) Stopped for lunch with the wife and mother-in-law and then headed back out to try and really hammer down on them. Spent about a half hour running different spots and just scanning for fish, finally locating a good many in a pretty small area hanging around 60 ft. Went to work and ended the day with 15 total rainbows and two perch. Not any huge fish but 4 that were pretty nice and several that were barely 8" (C&R all). Great day and awesome time!
