It's been so warm out I thought I'd go out and get my line wet. Tried for Bass for a bit with no luck. So I went out to the middle of the lake and fished with a worm and bobber. I ended up catching the biggest freshwater fish I have ever caught or seen in my life. A 22 lb 31 inch Catfish! What a fight! I had no idea what the heck it was at first. Took me about 10 minutes to pull that monster in the boat. What a great experience!

I caught one like that a few years back at a little lake near me. took some pictures, then let her go, neat knowing that that fish is still swimming around out there somewhere. I like to tell the local kids about it to see their eyes light up

Every few years you hear of a Channel over 20 coming out of Terrell. Great catch!
