The bass are at different depths at this time. I am having my
best luck in about 2-4 feet deep. Sunday I fished for about five hours
in the morning. I caught five bass, the first was 2 lbs 7 oz then three
nonkeepers and then landed a 5 lbs 10 oz bass. I was using a firetiger
bandit crankbait for the first four fish (the 2.7 was IN sucker creek).
the 5.10 fell victim to a (brown with gold flake) spider jig. The 5.10
was hooked in the pilings on the west shore. she was in about five feet
of water. The best places to fish this time of year are: shallow logs,
brush on the shore, docks, waldon isl. and the edge of the lilly pads.
