Left Friday around 1030 am head to Moses lake to do some walleye fishing with my family for the first time. Got there around 3ish, after settling in the hotel then headed to tri city outfitters to gather up some fish gear to target walleye. Trevor gave me lots of information and spots to explore. Saturday morning after feeding the little man then headed to potholes, launched at M street because it was a little windy. The wife started catching the first few walleyes, that wasn't keepers. Before too long she had 4 and I hadn't caught any. As the morning went on the wind picked up and it was hard to continue fishing, so we called it a day. We headed back to the hotel so go swimming. Sunday morning we got up earl and was waiting for breakfast so we could get a earlier start to this walleye fishing. Launched at the same spot and headed just north of the state park. Trolled along the humps and caught a few perch, turn around because no one was having much luck up there. As we went south I hooked a fat walleye, my first and a keeper. Fished for a little while longer and headed to Moses lake to do some perch fishing. There were a few boats but the prech fishing was nothing I have ever seen and done. As we got to the launch there were guys leaving with coolers full of fat perch, so I launch the boat and headed to the spot. We fished there until around 6pm and headed back to hacienda. Got home from work yesterday and started working on our catch. Let's say we had a fish fry of walleye and perch for dinner last night. My next trip will be to banks lake
