We fished Lake Chelan yesterday and had very consistent fishing. We picked up 26 kokanee ranging 12 to 16 inches. This has ben some great growth from my trips 2 weeks ago when they were 11 to 14 inches. We caught fish at Mitchell creek and 25 mile creek. We picked them up as shallow as 50 feet down to 115 feet down. Our best 2 colors were pink and orange hoochies 11 inches behind Yakima baits new fast limit kokanee dodger. We tipped these hoochies with corn died cerise pink and soaked NWBait graybills kokanee scent and NWBait graybills krill scent.
The last 3 trips have been great having 58, 34 & 26 fish days. I expect with this nice weather the fishing to stay good right on through spring!
