Jeff had a great time with Mike Shay and Pat Stacey, then again with Dean Williams and his crew, Casey McAfee, Randy Hooper and Parker Williams. They worked the lower basin. Mike and Pat wanted to get some Kokanee before getting their Macks. Dean and the gang pounded the trench for Macks.

For Kokanee, trolling slowly just over suspended schools worked best. A Mack's Double D Dodger with a short leader to an orange Mini Cha Cha baited with Fire Corn was most effective.

For the Mack's, pounding the bottom at about 1mph with a Silver Horde Needlefish fronted by a Mack's Smile blade and baited with a piece of Pikeminnow was ticket.

This is a great time to get in on either Mack or Kokanee fishing on Lake Chelan.
