spent 4+ hours on the water from the hydro pits past the park and across to the end of the island, around the Renton launch and the river back to the hydro pits via a long slow troll 65' on the wire down the middle on the way back .
After 7 gear changes in 6 colors and 3 baits everything but the tackle box it self only seeing 5 or 6 fish on the screen and less bait balls, not like it was three weeks ago fish and bait everywhere . Seem's as if maybe they filled up on baitfish and
are on their way to some other place already. Only guessing of course final score no hit's no run's none to take home either seems like there was a much stronger bite morning or afternoon at the start of the month.

I suspect the fish have followed the bait (sticklebacks) in towards shore. The sticklebacks spawn in the weedy areas and this year the timeline has been accelerated due to the mild winter we experienced. Also, the fish in this lake are very sensitive to weather changes. Especially a change in pressure, which can turn off the bite for days.
