Spectacular fishing! It was pre spawn last weekend. A friend and I started fishing at 10:30am satarday.. It was very windy, so we finished out of the wind near Road M southeast in 13 feet of water and caught a 20 inch walleye in 10 minutes. We had 13 keeper walleye 4 perch out of 50 smalleye at 5:00pm Sunday. :) Most productive silver smile blade chartreuse slow death hook Nightcrawler big.
Tight lines.

Hitting next Friday, Sat, and Sunday. Staying at the State Park. Never fished the Potholes for Walleye so finding where to fish will be a shot in the dark. Hope their still in the biting mood. Glad to here you got into em....

I would suggest stopping by MarDon Resort, if you are new to the potholes. The folks behind the counter there have good info and a map with red lines on it where a walleye travel and spawn.

Finding a good place to fish should not be too hard. Go left out of the state park and look for all the boats. LOL
