Launched my 12 ' Aluminum at 9:30 AM and fished till 12:30 PM. Caught two Kokanee, 10 and 11 inches respectively, which I released before boating (too small). Had a couple of other hits. Very slow fishing even using two poles. I did not see any other boats net any fish. I was trolling and used large cowbell spinners trailed by a wedding ring with double #6 hooks with worm. Usually this works great.
WSFD supposedly planted 6 thousand trout the 3rd week of March in Meridian. Wonder where they were hiding.
I certainly didn't mark very many on my Hummingbird.

I am sure some of those fish are still hiding. I made a trip over there about a week after they planted the fish and there was a ton of kids having a hay day fishing on the back for them. It was a real treat to watch them catch them. A few more warm days and keep after it and the fishing will be great. Tight lines.

Ya, what Hunter said about them hiding. They push toward the north end of the lake. There are 2 air planes on the east and west side. I usually do my laps back and forth in that area.
