Earlier today I went fishing at Fargher lake , for bass with no luck. Then decided to go to Battle Ground lake , tried for bass , got snagged and frustrated. Saw some people trolling catching some trout , moved two the next spot and saw two pretty good sized rainbows swimming right next to each other, so decided to throw a rainbow colored 1/16 oz. rooster tail with two split shots in front of it and BOOM got hit and it felt big , eventually got it in in my hands, but discover that I had snagged another line with a fish on it. the fished slipped out of my hands , then I hand lined the other fish I snagged (in its mouth was cut power bait mouse tail) and got it in. . Lost the rooster tail after fighting another fish. caught another nice 11 in trout on a SILVER and BLACK 2 in. MATZUO SINKING MINNOW (highly recommended) . Had to leave. Got two fish(could have got more). Overall great day on the far side of battle ground lake .
