Just saw a mack post from Deer & thought I'd post some old pics from when I used to fish regurlarly for Mack's at Deer lake. This was from a few years back & have since pretty much been devoted to Fishing for Bass. But I'm gonna go out a few times & target the mack's in the next couple weeks. Big fish in photo was like 39 inches & almost 20 lbs. We didnt take many photos back then unless we caught a giant & I wish we did cause we caught dozens of 7-15 lbers. My dad is holding the big guy & my best friend Jake is also in the one pic with his first ever Mack's. This particular morning we caught all these from 9-11 am. The weird thing is we saw another one caught that morning that also weighed 19+lbs. Those are the two biggest fish I've seen landed at Deer & both within 2 hours of eachother
