Why go to Chelan or Stevens when you can fish Sammamish? Fished Saturday afternoon (3 till dusk) and Sunday morning 7 till 11) Bite seemed to really die about 10:30 Sunday morning. About the time the water skiers and play boaters show up. Mostly had the whole lake to ourselves. Caught 8 nice cutthroats and 20 or 30 Kokanee. Took 4 cuts home, C&R all the rest.

This lake is loaded with fish!! Cuts caught about 60 feet down, Kokanee all over the place, 0-65 feet, about 100 feet back, all in 80 +/- feet of water. Small flasher with red, green or gold wedding ring, worm chunk or power bait, 12-14 inch leader. Trolled east side from launch up to the corner. Didnt see much on the fish finder after we went around the corner.

Sorry no pics. To busy catching fish and way to much trouble on my antique stupid phone.

Thanks for the report! My experience seems to match the slow action after 10:30 as well.
Went out trolling with downrigger around 10:30 on Monday morning and despite seeing fish everywhere they would not bite.
Tried a Rapala, wiggle hootchie behind the ball about 50ft down right where most fishes are but nothing.
Got to go earlier next time.
