Sorry I did not fish at blackmans lake,it's the closest lake to the actual lake that I fished at,Shadow lake is not in the not on the lake choices.Went out to Shadow lake/pond at Thomas Eddy's park,weather was rainy and windy. Got to the lake around 6 pm,used a Mepps spinner with gold blades. caught a lot of smaller LMB ,this lake seems to have a lot of them especially since it's not fished as often. Tried using crappie jigs with no luck, eventually went back to a spinner that had some pink/white color with black spots and Gold blades and started catching crappies,all fish were released but they are beefy in here! Defiantly would recommend this place if you want to catch fish,like Mostly LMB bass and crappie starts to bite towards the evening.
