Pretty killer day on the water. It wasn't as consistent as most would prefer it to be but managed to haul in a limit. 6:30 am the bite was red hot but I only went 2/7. Then the bite turned way off. Want until around 9:30 when I landed my 3rd. Lost 4 more fish in the process of landing my last 2.

My set up was a dick nite clown dodger paired with a green wedding ring tipped with corn. Krill/shrimp oil was used on the corn. I started out at 20 ft right outside of the boat launch but ended up on the North West corner of the lake for my limit. Really enjoyed the peaceful morning with a beautiful sunrise. Couldn't be a better morning! I posted a pic of my pontoon setup as a few people wanted to see how I ran it. There ya go! Tomorrow it's Lake Washigton for cutthroat. Anyone heading out there? Let me know so I can pick your brain on where to go and what to use his time of the season.

Good work on the lake yesterday Dj, sure looks like I missed the boat on that one , Well If ya read the note I put in the comment's maybe you know what I'm having to work around , yeh a hard to please women , maybe its time to try something different ? don't know a vacation by myself
something dang it's been to long since I've been out on Lake Washington , I sent a note to Gman a couple days ago no reply yet I think he might be over on the east side fishing maybe . He seems to have a good system for the cutts in the lake , the Brads cut plug filled with Pike Minnow salted and chopped I think at about 40 to 50 feet . I've done well along the east side of the park around the north end and around into the cove area working both directions E to W and N to S of course the ends of the island and next to the I 90 bridge E side around the corner at Faben Pt as well. I have even pulled a few out in the middle of the hydro course too . So it seems to have a lot to do where the stickelbak are migrating to as the cutts seem to fallow them into the shallow waters , that's what ya see when those big clouds show up on the screen with the fish in and around them . Fish On !

Nice size to the Kokanee. Is that pontoon boat from Costco? I've been looking at those but wasn't sure how they would hold up.

I actually got my toon on Amazon. It works pretty well. Had to replace the bladder one time which was completely my fault.

That was me Jonathan!! Usually you can catch me out there on the weekends!!

Seattle Steeler- I use a downrigger and trolling motor. My toon does great on smaller lakes like Meridian

It was nice to put a face to all of the reports I have read from you. Your reports last September inspired me to get out on washington for some salmon fishing. Of course I didn't have the same success at the salmon fishing that you did though!
