5/12/2015 1:18:00 PMNice haul for your first trip. Plenty of that size out there, Tanwax is one of my favorite bass lakes. Wooden docks to the left of Rainbow Resort usually hold a few also. Couple of nicer sized ones REALLY like that flat, abandoned concrete dock with the broken dive platform. Just don't get snagged on the metal cross pipes underneath. Also try the shoreline and weeds/pads next to the two BIG houses with the huge grass lawns. (They're over by that single giant redwood tree, their dogs like to watch people fish!) If you're accurate in casting into tight spaces, pitch underneath any of the covered boat houses and hold on! Frog lures, stick baits, shallow cranks and unweighted creature baits all work good for me here. You'll be catching 5+ pounders soon...C & R and tight lines!
