launched my toon from the little boat launch beside the regular launch, at about 5:30 am was fishing by 6 am and had my first kokanee by 6:30.I found out the gates don t open till 7. the little launch is for small hand carried boats . Met up with DjButler later on in the morning and exchanged info for future fishing trips . I don t have a down rigger yet so I was long lining. about 60 feet out using banana weights to get down to 20 feet ,hot wings and a wedding ring tipped with white corn. was able to boat 3 and lost 2. left around 10 am .will be looking into a down rigger for sure as I watched DJ catch a lot more fish then I was .This was first time for this lake and for fishing for kokanees , I think I will be back for sure as they are much more fun to catch then rainbows.
