Launched my pontoon boat at 4:30 am from the boat rental dock , had a small hit almost instantly but no hook up .Wind was blowing a bit so was a little hard to control the speed for trolling . had several more hits before landing first fish about 6:45 , was a 11" bow . After several more small hits I landed a perch and another small bow before I surrendered to the wind and left at about 9:30 . I did notice that it took a bigger chunk of bait to get hook ups then what it took a few weeks ago . The birds of prey were doing a great job of fishing , I saw 23 fish get taken by them . Was pretty cool to watch and made the day more enjoyable .
