This was my 1st trip to Deep lake this year. I started fishing for Kokanee on this great little lake last summer with not much success. This year is off to a better start. Fished the afternoon of the 23rd with my wife and caught 9 kokes and a rainbow in 3 hours. We were trolling white and red bladed wedding rings behind flashlites and slingblade dodgers tipped with Pautzkies fire corn. The sling blade was a little better performer. I trolled 2/3 of the way up the lake from the landing favoring the east side from numbers 4 - 6 on the cliff face. One fish was landed on a flat line with 1/2 Oz lead. The rest were caught 25' to 35' on the wire. All kokes were 8 to 10 inches. Be careful on the ramp. It's just as slippery as last year.

ok that answers my question! We noticed it wasn't much better either but at least it looks like they fixed the dock so it's not sinking anymore. May have to hit it in my pontoon next time over!
