Lake Stevens is still kicking out Kokanee like crazy! They are still tons of fish in the Lake even after the derby which is awesome and will allow us to have a great fishery extending into the summer. The fish that have been caught though are allowing the remaining fish to pack on some weight! I believe the Lake was over populated this year which led to the smaller size, but man has it made for great fishing!

I am pulling around a wide selection of dodgers and gear, but gold dodgers with gold/silver Macks Wedding rings have been the ticket! The last few times the fish have been very picky with depth, with most of my fish coming from 28-34' deep. Speed really hasnt seemed to matter but keeping bait and scent fresh has been very important. Herring and Krill Super Dipping Sauce and Shoepeg has been the staple on my boat all season.


I have a few days left in the next two weeks then I will be onto Skagit Sockeye!
