An adventure with Glenn and Cami of F24 renown who went still fishing with me today. We started around 6am and quit at 9:30am because I had to get ready for work.
It was cloudy and the water temperature was 68.2.
We stopped in one spot but it seemed like it was just a place for trout so I moved a little bit deeper and we found kokanee.
I got the first few fish while they struggled to understand the hook set of the bite. Glenn figured it out and caught more than I did. I think he might be hooked on fishing for them this way, too. Glenn picked out Wannafish A Lure’s Still-fishing Spinner in red while Cami picked out the pink one which I was using.
Glenn was in the bow and he would slide his fish down to Cami and I to put in the bleeding bucket. One went into the bilge and I got it out with the help of the “Gripper”.
Glenn and I asked Cami if she remembered her salmon catch card. We had fun.
It was a pretty nice day on the lake with biters consistently but it was slower than the day before, 5-30.
