Arrived at Loon lake tuesday morning at 7:30. My little 12 foot aluminum is docked at my uncle's place so I can just grab my rods & I'm good to go. The weather started to turn nasty almost immediately so I knew this was gonna be a short trip. First fish was the biggest, she hit a 6 inch senko in smoke/blue/gold fleck, I got her on the scale long enough to see 5lb 6oz then she flipped and flew off my scale and into the water with no picture:( wah wah! Started throwing a Rapala scatter rap in Bluegill pattern while moving between spots & ended up catching 3 Largies within maybe 10 casts or so. I really like the action on these cranks, with their round lip they move very erratic & dont look mechanical like most crankbaits. As the rain really started to pour I kept getting bit. I ended up landing 5 more LMB on the 6" senko before I was so soaked I had to bail. Nine Bass total in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Wish I would've got a pic of the five pounder but I had a good time anyways.
