Took an old friend out fishing for kokanee. not sure what he was expecting, but he was blown away every time i handed him the rod, he was thinking we would maybe catch 1. Then the morning started out with a triple!, with the biggest fish going 14 1/2" and others in the 12-13" range. lost at least 5 fish, and also the clutch nut on my hand downrigger, grrr, at least i didnt lose the washers!(hardware store: wing nut) had consistent action first 2 hours then we had a hard time finding them, and still picked up a couple using an ounce and a half lead 100' back- would have been better if i could have used 2 downriggers. oh well, all in all a great day turning an old friend on to lake Chelans Kok fishing, i thinks he likes it, already asked for more next week, hehehe! finished with 5 fish after 4 1/2 hrs.
