We fished Potholes on 6/12 and 6/13 with great success! The fishing was very good and all of the Walleye were 17" to 21" with a few 23" to 25" fish! We caught lots of small Walleye, Smallmouth, and Perch as well both days, but we only kept a few because they swallowed the hooks pretty deep.
We were trolling bottom bouncers and Mack's Lure Slow Death Rigs in 11 to 15 feet of water at 1.0 mph over by Crab Creek. The fish are feeding on small bait fish right now and can move a lot from one day to the next. Many colors worked but orange and chartreuse were very consistent both days and produced the most fish! It did seem like they wanted bright colored Smile Blades when it was windy or cloudy and dark colors when it was bright sun and flat calm. The fishing is going to continue to stay hot like this for a while!

We have openings the last week of June and into July, call 5092647684 or email info@uppercolumbiaguide.com to book a trip now! Tight lines and see you on the water!
