Best day EVER on Lk Washington this morning! Wind was howling and the water was nasty whitecap rough but persistence really paid off..

Fished Hunts Pt to Juanita Bay. Caught fish all along the way. Kept these two cutts and pig rainbow. C&R probably another dozen, 4 nice cutts and I think about 8 little guys. Lost another 4. Amazing morning.

Used several different kinds of hoochie and flasher combos. Wiggle hoochies, plain hoochie, green, pink and mixed color, hoochie on a wedding ring. Also added a twinkle skirts. Tipped with a drop of herring scent. Everything seemed to work. All about 75 feet back and 45 to 60 feet down in 50 to 80 feet of water, 1.5-2mph.

Hit the water about 8 oclock, wind, waves and fish finally wore me out about noon.

Even the Heron had a good fishing day.
