Went to American Lake this morning around 7:00am little cool and over cast with light wind started fishing the north end of the lake caught 2 little 1.5lb smallmouth and 10 rock bass on drop shot stick worms in 10ft water, moved down to east side and caught a solid 4lb smallmouth on texas rig lizard and two more 1lb dinks and 20 more rock bass around 10:00 wind pick up to 15 knots and made it fairly tough going, seen a nice school of 3lb smallmouth while the wind was blowing me around. 11:00 I moved down south end on shallow points and caught a nice 3.5lb smallmouth and a dozen more rock bass and some perch. all in all was good day out, my arms a little sore from catching all them rock bass. I did catch some quality rock bass if there such a thing.
