The lake level is very low. Most of the boat launches are closed even the swimming areas. Kim (pinkpole) and I launched and started fishing about 7am.

We had bites consistently and had lots of little ones who fought like big fish and the big fish hardly fought.

The fish were caught from 15-25 feet on the cable. The little ones were everywhere. The best lures were Wannafish A lure’s Orange and Gold and the Patriot. All combined with Dick Nite Dodgers (see pic).

Kim tried various lures then put on the Patriot and that caught most of her fish. I had a Gilded Lily but the Orange and Gold did the best. We had corn and real maggots for bait.
It was sunny and hot. The water was 75 degrees. We left about 11am.

We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.

I didn't measure but the fish checker did. One he said was roughly 10 inches. The largest weighed 260 grams. 6 clipped 6 not clipped.
