I Spent 1.5 days fishing Swofford Pond. I had originally gone down for Musky on Mayfield but there was a tournament and I did not want to get in the way. I fished Friday evening and Sunday all day with a break for lunch.

Friday caught upwards of 20 fish in the evening with 4 above 1 lbs. and the big fish for the trip at 18"
Saturday caught more fish than I could count. With many in the 1-2 lbs range.

Soft plastics ruled with some topwater action on a small whopper plopper in the Loon. The lure of the weekend thought was a lowly 5" grub in green pumpkin on a darter head. It caught fish of all sizes. Lizards and wacky rigged stick baits where also good. Pulled through the weed flats in 4-8 feet of water and around the pads. I caught a fish on every 3rd cast it seemed. It was a bass orgy.

I also caught the big bluegill pictured and one trout. This is a very fishy lake with lots of bait and a healthy mix of bass sizes.
