went out to crescent this mega hot morning. when launching about 7:30 a bass type boat was heading for the ramp, didn't talk to him. I saw the swimmer guy doing laps also, he has been doing that for years. I started with the standard chrome F3 flatfish on one rod and a silver mepps aglia long on the other. one pass around the lake and nothing, starting on the second when I got my first rainbow by the burned down mansion. another came at the far end of the lake by the outlet creek. nothing on the spinner so I switched to a chrome thomas spoon. a fish hit that pretty quickly. another lap around the lake and another trout by the old mansion. a few more laps and nothing. another boat came and went and I didn't see them catch anything. an osprey caught one and dropped another. a few more rose for flies. stand up paddle board guy made a couple passes around but wasn't fishing. when I got back to the ramp a couple were fishing off the ramp with fire tiger pattern flatfish. nothing caught but they saw a school pass by.
