Hit the water at about 6 AM. Lots of trailers in the Sportsman Access parking lot - and lots of weeds from the lake. Started trolling in about 170 FOW by Yellowstone point. Water was 76 degrees on top. Landed 7 out of 8 by 9:30 - it was getting hot and many jet skies and power boats were out - time to head in. Pink hoochie (and a wiggle hoochie) with white corn behind a dodger was the best producers today. The long line didn't get hit at all. All fish came on the down-rigger between 35 and 45 ft at about 1.3 mph. Only two fish were 16", all the rest were between 10 and 12". The fish are still in good shape, and scattered around. One other guy said he caught all his larger fish at 50+ ft down.
