If you have kids and want to get them on fish, Banks Lake is the spot to hit. The walleye action is basically not stop for fish running 15-17 inches with walleye up to 22-24 inches being taken as well.

The lake is full of small perch fry right now so I have been running small shallow diving crankbaits for non-stop action.

Also been getting smallmouth bass and a few nice rainbow trout pulling the crankbaits.

Speed has been 2.0-2.5 mph in water depths of 9-15 feet.

Give me a call to set up a Banks Lake trip.

As a bonus, our weather has cooled down significantly making the fishing much much more comfortable.
